  8. Use the instructions provided to pay within 16 minutes.
  9. Type the MPesa code and exact amount transacted on EastPesa form provided
  10. Click on post the transaction.

Transactions take about 4-6 hours for completion. For transactions over USD400, it takes 48 hours. EastPesa online platform will show you the status of the transaction indicating when the amount will reflect.

Notably, there are several challenges you get from using this method

  • You cannot transact less than Ksh 755
  • The exchange rate is higher. This is probably because the transaction fee is included.

How to send money from Equity, KCB and other local banks to Skrill

Skrill offers an instantaneous way of loading your account using Visa and MasterCard debit cards. This method is fast and has a relatively cheaper exchange rate, 2.5%. First, ensure you have a Visa or MasterCard debit card loaded with enough cash
