It targets students in engineering, architecture, construction management, and materials science. The program aims to develop the next generation of industry leaders by providing significant financial support, mentorship, and a fully paid internship at a leading concrete-related company. Recipients also receive funding to attend two ACI Concrete Conventions, offering unparalleled networking opportunities with industry professionals.

Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship

Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship provides funding for outstanding postgraduate students from select developing countries, including Kenya, who have no other means of financing their studies. It aims to develop effective scholars and leaders who can contribute to development in their home countries. The scholarship is unique as it is a 50% grant and 50% loan, which must be repaid. It is highly competitive and prioritizes Master’s level students under the age of 30.

Australia Awards Scholarships

Australia Awards Scholarships is a fully-funded scholarship provided by the Australian Government for emerging leaders from developing countries, including Kenya, to undertake full-time postgraduate (Master’s) study at an Australian university. The program aims to equip scholars with the skills and knowledge to drive change and contribute to the development outcomes of their home country. It focuses on building strong links between Australia and partner nations.

British Council Scholarships for Women in STEM

This is a fully-funded scholarship program for women with a background in STEM who wish to pursue a one-year Master’s degree in the United Kingdom. It is designed for women from eligible countries, including those in Sub-Saharan Africa (like Kenya), who can demonstrate a need for financial support and a passion for their field. Cambridge Africa Changemakers Scholarship

Cambridge Africa Change-makers Scholarship is a fully-funded, highly competitive scholarship for PhD students from any country in Africa. It is offered by the Cambridge Trust, in partnership with the MasterCard Foundation, and is tenable at any college at the University of Cambridge. The program aims to support talented students who require financial assistance, particularly those whose research contributes to the development of the African continent and promotes climate-resilient and sustainable futures for Africa and the world.

Canada Graduate Scholarships

Canada Graduate Scholarships – Doctoral (CGS D) Program is a high-value scholarship aimed at supporting and promoting research excellence in Canada. It provides financial support to high-calibre scholars engaged in doctoral programs at eligible Canadian institutions. The program is jointly administered by the three federal granting agencies: the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC). A specific, limited quota of these awards is allocated for non-Canadian/international students.

Columbia University Scholarship for Displaced Students

Columbia University Scholarship for Displaced Students (CUSDS) is Columbia’s first-ever university-wide scholarship and the world’s first of its kind, supporting students displaced by global crises. It is for individuals from anywhere in the world who are unable to complete their higher education due to their displaced status. The program aims to combat this humanitarian loss by providing a pathway for displaced students to pursue undergraduate or graduate degrees at Columbia, enabling them to become future leaders.

Commonwealth Master's Scholarships

This is a fully-funded scholarship for talented and motivated candidates from eligible low and middle-income Commonwealth countries, including Kenya. It is aimed at those who could not otherwise afford to pursue a full-time taught Master’s degree at a UK university. Funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), the program’s goal is to equip future leaders and innovators with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote sustainable development in their home countries. All awards are aligned with one of the six CSC development themes.
