The HELB Postgraduate Scholarship supports Kenyan students pursuing Master’s or PhD degrees in local universities recognized by the Commission for University Education (CUE). The award amounts to Kshs. 200,000 for Master’s and Kshs. 450,000 for PhD programmes, tenable for two and three years respectively. Applicants must have at least a Second-Class Upper Division in their undergraduate studies and an admission letter to a postgraduate program. Priority is given to those in STEM, Innovation, and Fisheries fields that align with Kenya’s Big Four Agenda. Applicants with prior HELB loans must be actively repaying or have cleared them before applying.
